Odds and Ends What would you choose?

i have seen folks commenting on the photo album in other threads ..that has been sorely missed. it is fun to recall the things about past series that were really a hit with the way you play your sims.
i forgot about reading in bed...i am a real life bookworm so reading in bed would be right on my list. i did like the zodiac signs ...sometimes it frustrated me a bit if my sim ran into a potential boyfriend and the relationship fell flat ..but it is definitely mirroring life that is for sure...pool tables are nice ..we got those in the sims 3 university..didn't we? So that was early on. I like to use many items for fun in commercial lots to add to the activities while there. Wow! The fun memories

- I miss cars and motorcycles and scooters in that open world.
- I miss houseboats in that open world. I miss cruising around on the ocean visiting different islands on my houseboat in that open world.
- I miss underwater scuba diving.
- I miss customizing my worlds/neighbourhoods.
- I miss worlds large enough that you could build several homes PLUS each type of community lot to make each world feel complete.
- I miss building my own apartment buildings and multi-home lots (like trailer parks).
- I miss multi-use lots.
- I miss terraforming tools that let us make our own ponds.
- I miss colourwheels and customized pattern options.
- I miss controlling my pets and knowing their needs.
- I miss chickens and cows and horses.
- I miss in-ground hot tubs.
- I miss pool waterslides and diving boards.
- I miss bunk beds.
- I miss spiral staircases.
- I miss pool tables and normal telescopes.
- I miss pizza ovens and baker's stations and trash compactors."

@AncientMuse you said absolutely every single thing I miss! Plus, the babies, being able to do all of the stuff with them, and kids toys and activiies! I really miss owning a business on your home lot, like it in TS2. And, I also really miss the fact we can't change the darn ceilings!

oh i miss being able to terraform my own fishing ponds on my lot..i know we can cheat to use the one pond but making your own pond and then stocking it with the fish you wanted it to have was a fun way to just customize your home lot....gotta agree with you chicklet453681 on that one!
