But modders are volunteers, and we must allow hem to take their time. To prepare you should know what mods you have and what site to go for updates. Even if you don't get a pack, EA will patch your game for it meaning you will normally need the latest version of all your mods.
First time you play after the patch/pack added, take the entire mods folder out of your game, then start a test game, and add mods to test, one by one. It sounds tedious, but is rather quick if you have a limited amount of mods.
