Off the Grid lot trait - how & where will you use it in your existing worlds?

I'm tempted to make an entire world off the grid, with maybe just one or two lots with technology. I might do this with Sulani, but I might try another world in case I decide to wait to get the new pack. I've always wanted to try a gameplay set in the past, with sims living off the land, or maybe even an apocalypse type of setting.
