It's looking like we're not going to get an Expansion Pack Announcement before the Livestream cause there wasn't a teaser Today. Tomorrow is the latest we could get an EP announcement before the Livestream but it wasn't teased Today.

I don't think the EP will come until March, tbh. I think the update is coming after the livestream, in February. Maybe Thursday the 2nd. The kits came shortly after the roadmap, and the roadmap usually covers 3 months. If this is the infant update, they'd want players to have at least a month with it, which would give the devs the opportunity to identify major bugs, to fix them in the pre-expansion update.

I do hope that modder you referenced has inside knowledge. I was wondering that myself, to be honest. Could just be wishful thinking on my part, but I'm going to remove my Mods folder before I watch the live stream, just in case.
