OFFICIAL INCHEON ARRIVALS AND FASHION WEEK SCREENSHOT THREAD!

Sul sul everyone,

It's that time of year again. The leaves are beginning to fall, the nights are getting longer, Michael Bublé and Mariah Carey have awoken from their slumbers... 2021 is drawing to a close.

So before we start preparing to dive into months of family fun, costumes, pumpkin/turkey/tree celebrations, for some of you summer, and National Button Day (it's real I swear, look it up); and drink more Pumpkin Spice Lattes than can surely be healthy, I thought I would make a thread to highlight some of the awesome new content available in the Incheon Arrivals and Fashion Week kits!

So go grab a PSL, a cozy blanket and load up your Sims. Lets let those creative brain juices go on one last hurrah before we all turkey them to death next month :smile:

    It's not a ribbon. It's a steel circle with rivets on the back. There's no way to mistake that for a ribbon. Really wish they would remove it.


    What's wrong with it? It doesn't look that bad


    It's a freaking chastity belt! :lol: It looks bad visually, especially as it has no purpose, it doesn't hold anything up, it spoils the flow of the beautiful sari, and also, the message it sends out is inappropriate.


    What message? I'm so confused I feel like im missing something


    Look up chastity belts.

    Lol, I actually really like that belt. But I admit I do have a thing for rivets, zips, buckles, handcuffs... erm... scrap that last item ☺

    To me, the belt really adds to the outfit.

    Now, if there was a matching riveted bracelet for each wrist that would be even more awesome.


    Cuff bracelets, sure, I would love that. The belts in the real pictures at least have that mirror shine to them and I can see why they would be popular as fashion accessories. The one in game it's bulky looking, matte, and looks like dull steel with rivets, nothing glam about it. It will also look stupid on pregnant or fat sims.

    Don't mind me. I've said my point and I'll move along. I don't like that belt, I've seen the real pictures, personally I don't think any belts look nice with a sari.

    Saying that those sari belts look like chastity belts is like saying a person who wears a pair of lovely woolly mittens is in fact wearing a pair of brass knuckles.

    I suppose it depends on how big the mittens are, naturally, but let’s say we’re looking at someone who’s NOT hiding any knuckle dusters under their mittens. What if it’s just mittens? And then another person comes along and says:

    It's a metal circle worn around the belly. Same category as foot binding and those necklaces worn in Africa that make necks longer. Also, it makes the sari look dowdy.

    @Ember_Fox Yes, it's from the City Living pack. I really like this sweater too. The blue one is nice too. The first swatch on this sweater is a black and gold motif.
