- I loved the stream! The gurus did a great job & I was so impressed by everything!!
My thoughts on the update:
- The infants & the furniture that comes with them all look absolutely adorable!
- I was a little surprised that the changing tables aren’t base game.
- I LOVE that we are getting new bassinets, finally!!!
- The science babies are a really great, nice feature.
- I’m glad that newborns are getting more skin colors.
My thoughts on the pack:
- CAS looks really nice, although I was disappointed with the new hair.
- I love the new characteristic & conversation options!
- The gameplay all looks really good. I can’t wait to explode all of the milestones myself.
- I really love the new outfits for newborns! Finally, my sims don’t have to waste time knitting outfits for them, lol.
- I do wish that we could have seen more of the build/buy. That was my only disappointment with the stream.
Overall, it was a great stream & I am SO excited for the infant update & expansion packs!!! March 16th can’t come fast enough. - paigeisin52 years agoSeasoned AceI need to watch this a few more times. It is so full of new features; I know I missed some along the way. Thoroughly enjoyed every second of the stream. <3

Omg, I missed this part of the live stream, but I am so excited for this!!! Did they say how you get the picture you want? Like do you need to have the picture taken from a camera & placed in your inventory or something?- logionX2 years agoLegendPositives:
Infants seems to work really well, from what I could see.
I like that the pack and the base game updates seems to really update and enhance the game.
The new systems will probably make sims will feel more unique and hopefully it will be more fun to play different households.
Negatives:
The game suggesting things all the time could be disruptive, there seemed to be a lot of milestones, how often are they gonna happen?
The new gameplay items and the world didn't seem that special to me, but maybe other players will really like it.
The new systems could make gameplay worse when sims are reacting or behaving to things that the player doesn't want. - AncientMuse22 years agoSeasoned AceWow, so much to take in... and they didn't even cover the 3 new events, that would've been another half hour. :D
- Stay overs AND sleepovers. Fantastic!
- The milestones look so indepth and they're for every life stage.... that will be interesting to explore and play around with.
- Family dynamics, relationships going more indepth, compatibility, etc. Where to even begin with all that?
- Buildable splash pads, woo hoo! Swimming pool venues can now be turned into some awesome waterparks!
- The world looks fab, but like others, I really wish there were more lots to play on. I may have to boot out the premades to get a variety of venues and residentials to make it feel more like a self-contained world (which is a more preferrable set up for my play style).
All in all, a great stream! Lots to mull over.... and of course I'll be playing back the replay and pausing it ever two seconds to grab all the tidbits missed throughout (bb objects, pie menu choices, etc). - amapola762 years agoSeasoned Ace

Oh this pack looks fun, that world is cute. I don't know why but was expecting to see apartments, such a shame.
I am probably most impressed by this pack than any other. That being said, I am really disappointed about the lack of apartments or rowhousing. I feel like that was a huge opportunity missed being that it was based off the Bay area.
I agree, but... a while back, I found a townhouses lot on the gallery that looks a lot like the Bella's Belles Townhouses from TS2. I'm really hoping it will fit onto one of the two empty lots. Not quite the same, but it should still be pretty good. - I'm at work and wasn't able to watch the entire livestream because people kept bothering me. Did they mention anything about family tree? Will great-grand parents, 2 cousins, step parents be recognized?
- HopeyStarr2 years agoSeasoned AceHad to step away because of work, so I'll have to rewatch this one.
Fun stream though. There are so many things I am genuinely excited for based on what I saw. I haven't been this excited for a pack since City Living. Not even Cottage Living got me this hyped. And I knew the livestream was going to do it for me because reading about Growing Together features did not help me get the true sense.
Yeah, lots of positive vibes. ^^ There will be a few mods I can take out of my game, provided there aren't too many bugs or oversights. - Karamazov1232 years agoSeasoned AceMy biggest worry is that all the notifications will be a constant annoyance. We already have a problem with them. Work rivals could also be another hinderance that'll drag the game down for me.
Other than that, compatibility, milestones, infants, cross-pack compatibility, Hopewell Springs, and some of the new activities seem pretty interesting. I'll wait and see what people say before buying it, since - and I hate to keep bringing this up, but I have to - so many features look good on paper, but flop in practice. But if this pack is good, I'll buy it without even waiting for a sale.
I didn't hear anything about new skills or careers RIP. I'll keep scanning Twitter for any more info about these. - Babykittyjade2 years agoSeasoned AceWatching the replay now!! I'm at the beginning and the new stuff being added to basegame for infants is so nice!! I don't know why seeing the chat so excited on twitch always makes me laugh/smile ?
I feel like it's been so long since we've seen the gurus live it's nice to see them again. ?
A SCIENCE BABY???!!?????
This is so perfect for one of my sims that I didn't want to actually have a baby yet I wanted an infant ?
