@Lenny_Ogg I like how you put the narrow console table between the two desks. It looks great. "CAPTAIN_NXR7;c-18272701" wrote:
The details of the wee backpack look good, except- I never really understood / understand why girls carry these things to events such as gigs & big concerts etc. I wouldn’t trust it where I couldn’t see it - in fact - I wish there was a version without it just for paranoid nutjobs like me.
feminine clothing notoriously lacks pockets so thats one thing
+ you do have to put your items in something and all bags are about same in such crowd
some just harder to carry for whole day
then again I would probably swap for big jacket that has inside pockets and helps with weather issues
and bag that can fit a water bottle n snacks if allowed to the festival area
that bag looks too thin for that so I assume its more so just makeup n such hot girl nonsense in it- CAPTAIN_NXR73 years agoLegend

A running belt could work for smaller items, and I'm not even talking about the chunky bum bag variation, although I suppose none of them look "feminine" or "elegant" enough? Or do they? I dunno, I should probably stay out of that conversation, haha...
Most ladies that I know would carry a small cross body sling bag to events (the boho kind) or they'd wear baggy cargo pants with plenty of useful pockets. They still look fenimine to me. Who would eat snacks in the moshpit anyway? :D
Sure look, it's none of my business what people wear and how they wear it, even though I sometimes find myself wondering about it, as in,really wondering about it. Is it safe? Is it practical? Is it even comfy?! All those questions may haunt me at random times during the day...
I do like the concept of "fashion", but at the same time it's a complete enigma to me. - crocobaura3 years agoLegend

You can't put heave or bulky stuff like a bottle of water in cargo pants pockets or small cross body bags, so sometimes a backpack makes sense and is practical and you don't have to keep important stuff in the backpack if you're concerned about their safety. In the moshpit nothing is safe anyway if people slam into each other. - atreya333 years agoLegendNow that the giveaways ended, I went ahead and bought the book nook kit. I really like it. When I first saw the stackable stacks of books I immediately wanted to create a wizards study. Now I just have to build the rest of the wizards tower. ;)

- MaggieMae72763 years agoSeasoned Ace@Atreya33 I love your wizard's study! The desk from the werewolves pack fits in perfectly! You have given me ideas for my own wizard's study and I am looking forward to seeing your finished tower.

good idea except thatSpoilerbut yes most likely you just don't happen to own one1. one might not own a running belt
2. you might be traumatized by the bygone eras of fanny packs
3. might not go with the outfit choice
4. if its under clothes for above reason it might be slightly annoying to get to yourself even
5. still doesn't fit snacks and water bottle
6. might anyway get in the way of breakdancing *cough* I imagine would be something someone would say
7. might be uncomfortable around the waist as you are munching on all the snacks that still don't fit in the bag
8. band t-shirts you bought at t-shirt tent also don't fit in such small bagMost ladies that I know would carry a small cross body sling bag to events (the boho kind) or they'd wear baggy cargo pants with plenty of useful pockets. They still look fenimine to me.
Spoilerthe sling bag is still as easy to get to as the backbag especially if it doesn't have zipper or anything could be worse
but it does have same possibility of carrying snack water and band merch as the backpack option
minus side being its all weight on one shoulder at time which can be annoying for whole day event
cargo pants sure if you like them but most importantly if they fit because...yeah. fitting into things without stretch has never been this gals strong suit and I feel that i might not be the only gal with the issueWho would eat snacks in the moshpit anyway? :D
Me. I would eat the snacks in the moshpit :sunglasses:Spoilerits just mostly that everything in the festival area costs double or triple and if its whole day you do need something to drink and eat but yeah some festivals don't let you bring food cause " it might contain drugs" or whatever which sucks
good point about moshpit though
nothing is safe in moshpit no matter what you carry it inSpoiler
I like to stay at the very back myself
just listening maybe singing along maybe snacking maybe having secret anxiety attack
front: awkward since I'm more into the music than being part of the stage madness but also because lights n noise n special effects combo can make me sick pretty fast
2nd row - middle: absolute pandemonium if you almost died in concert you were probably there, the first row is actually easier to exist in if you just hold the railing like your life depends on it but in the middle theres nothing to grab onto for survival weeeee
moshpit: possible escape from pandemonium to the back if empty at the moment, but it might be mirage and it might be second worse pandemonium real fast when the moshing gets too intense for poor Simmingals survival
also even if you manage to pass through while its empty you can just sense people looking at you in that " im not mad I'm just disappointed" way for not secretly containing a sick dance number
bar area... just gives bad vibes in general
it just feels kind of like voluntarily going to meet Greg so I try to steer clear of it too
worst is when the whole back is the bar area in those scenarios I would rather not be there

I do like the concept of "fashion", but at the same time it's a complete enigma to me.
most baggy fit clothing is comfy as long as it stays on you easily and covers all body you want it to cover without constant adjusting
most skinny fit clothing is ultimately uncomfy unless its stretchy = if you can't sleep in it its still ultimately some level of uncomfy
most stretchy skinny fit clothing is practical because it won't get in the way of anything, or get caught on anything
some clothing is more practical in particular weather = if its cold skinny fit is not good ideaSpoilerexcept if its winter and the clothing has wool or fur or something on the inside and therefore while it looks thin skinny clothing it might deceivingly be very warm just doesn't really apply to summer festival clothing though cause it would also be too dang warm for those clothes
as for safetySpoilernothing is ever truly safe
but it is good idea to wear something, at very least, which is something I have certainly seen people fail at before going about the festival in their birthday suit
and this comment has been way too long and out of topic  sorry I'll go to snooze now and put it under spoiler- also wizards study looks so cool
now to pretend I didn't see that and I am totally not tempted to buy that dang kit - wildirishbanshee3 years agoSeasoned Ace

I really like, fits right in with a lot of stuff and I think the grunge clothes are cute, it was a shame there wasn't a hoodie with the thumb holes cut in. Then I remembered I might have done that just cause I'm weird and not because it was a known style thing lol.
That was really big in the 90's, though I think it's more punk/skater than grunge, but it would definitely have fit the theme. There was a lot of crossover there. Well, back then, anyway - no idea now.
