I normally don't have my Sims put them in said high chair. I have the older Sim make a meal and leave it on the counter, then call to meal. Or, the Toddlers are able to just help themselves, for as long as the food doesn't spoil. I keep on eye on it, so the kiddoes don't end up with a tummy bug, if you will. I never directed Erik to place her in the chair. He did that on his own. Sadly, he's still giving the Tots junk to eat. He used to give them a bowl of potato chips (come on, Erik, really?) so the animal crackers was a bit of an upgrade, but still. I'm about a heartbeat away from removing the last highchair on the lot.
