When the birthdays for them comes up, will they age up when I am not playing them even though I have aging off except for the household I play currently or can I rest easy? It would be very uncomfortable to meeting a child that was a toddler when I last played him/her.
Are you saying that Sims you have created birthdays for have aged up autonomously, or are you asking if they will. Because in the live stream it was said that a sim won't age up autonomously on a birthday set in the calendar, unless of course that birthday is on the actual day that the game ages them up
if you have aging on. Otherwise you should have to do it with a cake.
