I have only one couple I got attached to so much that I could never allow them to age. They are the leading couple of my Sims 4 save file and I have played them since Sims 2. Every time I play them I cannot get past them dying (I play in normal life span). I don't have that problem with any other Sims I play. Btw, I never even played them as infants.
