I thought I'd start a Legacy game - following the rules and everything! My starter Sim, Lucy Legacy went on a couple of dates, one with Johnny Zest and one with Travis Scott. I got Luke through Uni, got an A+ degree. He got married (eventually after a random breakup that I had no hand it whatsoever). I thought I'd let them enjoy a bit of time together before conceiving the next heir. In order to complete his Party Animal aspiration, I made him go to all the festivals. So, he's at the Hijinks festival. He's inherited the Goofball trait from his dad. I'm trying to get him to do as many of the social interactions as I can to finish the aspirations. What's this, why has he stopped? What's he doing? HE'S DYING! Sara, his wife, rushes to Grimmy to plead for his life but Grimmy's having none of it. Luke dies along with several intense hours of gameplay. Legacy Challenge failed. I am TRAUMATISED! (But not traumatised enough to start again - same starter sim but I imported a new love match from the gallery (using the #LegacyLoves))
It took me an entire year before I was ready to start Pinstar's Legacy all over again. I also chose my original Founder. Like the background story that much. I was the one who erred, I'm afraid. I failed to reread the section on what happens if you don't have a heir of the correct gender who has the Trait chosen? Had I done so, I wouldn't have had the older children (including the Heir-Apparent) move off of the lot. Face/palm. I could have just chosen him. Oh, well, you live and learn. Sorry your Legacy went awry. Let's hope the newly imported match will be made in heaven, so to speak. Best of luck!
