Oh my goodness I have never seen that interaction before. That is so cute! And forgetting to dress for the theater sounds like such a busy parent thing to do. I mean seriously, 5 little ones? It's amazing she had the energy to play.

My sims do not have free will, but despite this they are extremely good at showing me their personalities.

Just last week my 19 year old legacy heir has made the next heir with Siobhan Fyres. When I directed him to the bookcase the next day I let him the choice what he wanted to read and what did the young father-to-be grab? "I'll be a father", my custom pregnancy book for males!
He then got dragged outside by the family cat and somehow the cat action also pulled Siobhan. So there they stood on the lawn, Caspar still absorbed in the book and Siobhan looking over his shoulder. Suddenly she went through a "Ugh, this is disgusting" animation.

Worst moments are usually death for my sims. I'm trying in my save, to have some families that pass down the property to their children, so this is interesting. I picked up a dude who was a child the last time I played him, and several times I've put auto aging on, either out of ignorance or well, not having figured out how to age up before it's time. So he's old. And I stuffed him in the now deceased Landgraab mansion, found him a gal and they adopted a kid. NOW I'm getting the hang of things, so I aged her up twice in one night of my playtime. And... dad and mom died within two days of each other. The mom got to a really bad place and tried and tried to get Grimmy to hang around and take her too. He wouldn't. Finally I stepped in and picked her urine covered, filthy, hungry self up out of the dirt and got her cleaned up and functioning. Twelve seconds after she invited a dinner companion in the house, Grimmy came for her. ARGH. Ok.

That was a little depressing, but the legacy can continue when I get back to them, possibly, if the gal decides to be sociable. Then I went to a favorite of mine, a little blond haired cutie who's a bodybuilder and avid gardener. I... may have changed the entire course of that save...

See, I don't have all the packs, etc. I tend to have a month or two between acquiring them, 'cause I want to figure them out a little. Come to the forums, read things I didn't know, go play, round and round. It's fun. I looked at Newcrest and thought hmm, one lot left, I need a park. I downloaded something that looked like gardening fun. Holy Plum. It's got every plant in the game. Little Gwennie went over there for fun and didn't leave for three days! One, it took that long to water things. Two, there's an outdoor kitchen, several bathrooms, and a basement bedroom. So she took vacation and had some fun. And you know what they say about forbidden fruit...

So I was up till six in the morning getting Miss Gwennie through five days of being green and covered in leaves. She managed to get a promotion and level up to 9 in fitness, and her yard now looks like a green disco at night. I was terrified that she would die at the end of the time or something, 'cause I hadn't read up on plantsims. Heh. I worried for nothing. At least she's managed to keep the cowplant alive. I fell asleep trying to describe this to my husband, and found out he doesn't think "Aga aga, t'charb!! Dagdag!" is funny. He says he's taking me to yard sales tomorrow because I need a break from sims. I think he ought to play it, myself.

I ran out of time earlier and couldn't share the rest of my post. In one of my legacies my heir was constantly ignoring his little sister. I forgot to lock the door to his room so she was always pestering him, trying to use his computer, reading his books, sitting and wanting to chat endlessly about void critters. Even when his girlfriend was over his little sister kind of followed him around. They argued a lot. He teased her and mocked her. One day she came home after a really bad day at school and went straight her room and hid under the covers. Her brother went to her room and gave her a big ol' hug and old her a jokes until she cheered up. I thought it was really sweet. They ended up being really close.

Very unexpected death happened in my game yesterday. Father died from giggles, he just met his newborn son, went to sleep, woke up in the middle of the night and died. His daughter witnessed his death and was so sad . Mom replaced dad very quickly with the cute neighbor. From the moment he met that sad girl, he gave her so much attention and tried to cheer her up, I think it's cute.
Another cute moment, the same family was invited by the brother to his house. Everyone went, including that little girl and two toddlers. Kids went straight upstairs to meet their toddler cousin and gave hugs autonomously. Toddlers event went to talk to their newborn cousin.

I do really enjoy how the other parent cheers on the parent playing with the toddler. Very cute reaction. I also like when older Sims watch child Sims playing with their toys. I was having a birthday party for my child twins and their younger brother started playing with a toy. His invited uncle walked over and started clapping and cheering at his nephew playing. :D

I find it really cute when the child sims act disgusted when their parents kiss :s sww :D :D

I once loaded up a household I hadn't played in a while, and their dog had recently passed away, which I didn't immediately realise. So I was checking up on everyone to see what they were up to, mom was cooking, kid was out playing, and the dad .. well the dad was standing next to his dog's urn crying. Which was kinda heartbreaking coz he had the dog long before he met his wife & before they had kids. So it was very touching to see that he was the only one still crying about it, and as I noticed, quite regularly. Here's a pic of them. Poor Lars :/

My sim Graciella is a YA Latin beauty who had a fling with Marcus Flex, resulting in a beautiful baby girl Makayla. It was just one night they were together (MTS Risky WhooHoo by polarbearsims) After little Mac is born Marcus disappears, wont answer Graces calls, She doesn't even see him jogging in the neighborhood anymore. Grace is a hardworking single mom (assistant manager business career) and they live in a decent sized crappy apartment in San Myshuno (the one with the balcony in the Culpepper Building) Grace has slowly renovated the old apartment. It's not so bad now that the rats and roaches are gone, as well as that strange smell in moms new office (MTS NikNak movable city living objects and DA unlocked lot traits) the electrical and plumbing are still pretty bad but the place does have character and Grace loves sitting on the balcony with her toddler daughter reading stories. Grace and Mac have both been sad though because Grace has not found true love, she's always fallen for the love em and leave em type like Marcus. One Saturday Grace took Mack to Myshuno Meadows to play and maybe get some Chinese food from the food stall, and who should jog by but resident bad boy Don Lothario. He jogs by taking a good look at Grace, who is playing pirates with Mac. He jogs by 3 times before stopping to sit on the bench and talk to Grace while Mac plays. The three had a Chinese food lunch together from the food stall, but by then Mac needed a nap so Grace whisked her home. Grace gives Mac a little potty instruction and tucks her into bed before going to finish her reports for work. She'd just finished and turned off the computer, Mac was still napping, when her phone rang, it was Don asking her to dinner. She went, calling a nanny after a little deliberation. Don took Grace to Chez Llama, and they talked about Mac, Graces work, Dons job at the hospital (he was the doctor who delivered Mac) dinner ended with Grace and Don sharing their first kiss at her door before he went home. over the next Sim week Don called every night and met Grace and Mac at the spice festival. He carried Mac around looking at all the lights and even found her a snow globe while mom got ambushed by some coworkers. They ate some curry and went upstairs to put Mac to bed. Grace and Don then settled in to watch a movie, Don was nodding off by the end so Grace let him stay he curled up on her lumpy couch, and rose early to make pancakes for everyone. Grace was so surprised and charmed that this "ladies man" was feeding her daughter pancakes. Grace asked him to be her boyfriend and he accepted. Over the next week Don was staying over more than he was going home, he and Grace became best friends and Grace just asked him to move in. The following week was Macs birthday they had a small party inviting over the Pancake family and their toddler Will, and the Goths and their toddler Samantha (Will and Sam aged up too) Don and Grace were cleaning up from the party and Don proposed, Grace said yes and Mac cheered. At the romance festival Don was a little nervous but seemed to feel better after talking to the romance guru. Grace was looking at paintings and Don called her to the wedding arch and they were married. He then whisked Grace and Mac to Selvadorada. They all explored the jungle for a few days, and spent some time with the locals. Don especially enjoyed watching Grace learn the local dance moves. By the time they came home her belly was beginning to swell, Don did an exam and was delighted to find he was going to have a son to go with his adopted daughter. Don then switched careers and went into rocket science. Michael was born the next day, healthy and happy. The family moved to a larger house in Brindleton Bay (the big one with a pool on the beach) They adopted the friendly loyal mutt who wandered in one day. Don then quit his job to take care of the house and kids, though he cheated and hired a butler Richard to help with the cleaning and cooking. He spends his days helping Mac with homework and encouraging her and Mikey to be well mannered responsible kids. He doesn't even seem to miss his bachelor days, although Katrina, Dina, and Nina all seem to miss him and have been sniffing around lately trying to cause trouble.....
