- simsimsere5 years agoSeasoned AceHere's my list. I use and like all worlds though - except Batuu which I don't own.

- alanmichael15 years agoSeasoned AceWhy should Newcrest be deleted??? ?
- VWoodsong5 years agoSeasoned AceThe images not on my list at all are from things I don't own.
https://i.imgur.com/CN7JxCl.png - Decided to change the text a little to make it more accurate to my opinions on the worlds but this is how I'd rank them. :)

Ranking system:SpoilerTop tier: Ultimate favorites
I like it: Worlds I like but didn't make it to top tier for whatever reason (eg too small)
It's decent: Does the job, don't love it don't hate it.
I am disappointed: A world that could've been something great that I really like but ended up missing the mark and being wasted potential.
Never visit: I never use it. It could be deleted from my game and I wouldn't particularly care.
Overview:SpoilerBrindleton Bay is a gorgeous world, can't fault it, 5*. Easily the best Suburbia type world.
Sulani I like a lot, it's pretty and I like how open it feels.
Selvadorada is a gorgeous world and I love everything about it.
Forgotton Hollow is really nice but wish it was bigger
Glimmerbrook is the same as Forgotten Hollow, love it but wish it was bigger.
Strangerville is a really nice world, love the Arizona vibe of it.
Windenburg isn't my particular favorite as I'm not really into the dreary European vibe, but it's a good world and I can't fault it.
Granite Falls is a nice world, doesn't blow me away but it does the job
San Myshuno is ok, but it's bordering on disappointed category for me as it could've been so much more. (and the penthouses are horrible and too big)
Oasis Springs is nice, the base game worlds aren't for me but it does the job and I use it sometimes.
Del Sol Valley is just a big disappointment. The Sims 3 equivalent is my favorite in the whole franchise but Del Sol missed the mark entirely.
Evergreen Harbor is nice on paper, but totally unplayable as 2/3 neighborhoods are full of fake houses and feel like ghost towns.
Willow Creek just defines everything wrong with early Sims 4 for me. It's boxy, it's boring and the neighborhoods are too small. Put this in disappointment rather than never visit as a suburban world like this could've been really pretty, but WC isn't.
Mt Komorebi is probably the biggest disappointment world for me. It just feels so dull and I detest how in the mountain area the houses are literally in a straight line and not spread through the mountains.
Britechester I never, ever visit. It did the job for university playthrough but I never touch it otherwise.
Magnolia Promenade is just sort of there. I've barely ever visited it.
Batuu I don't even own.
Newcrest I dislike, it's just an extension to Willow Creek and it's basically useless unless you're a builder. "alanmichael1;c-17805781" wrote:

and i could use that amount of lots in more interesting worlds
it isnt even particularily versatile as builder because fake houses immediately turn it weird
like idk i just find it impossible to make any theme in that world
ofc just personal opinion- https://abload.de/img/my-image96ktz.png
- Strangerville has the best environmental effects, but outside the story it's just meh.
- Likewise Batuu offers great looks, but imposes too many building restrictions. I wanted to rate it better, but just can't.
- Forgotten Hollow is too situational or maybe my vampires aren't gloomy enough. Those whippersnappers with their cellphones B)
- Magnolia Promenade is nice as a self-contained district like a campus (2 dorms, 1 library, 1 gym/arena, large park area), I never use it as a shopping district
- I don't own RoM, but would probably rate Glimmerbrook on par with Granite Falls, and Magic World with Batuu - logionX5 years agoLegendThis is probably how I feel, I like worlds that have good looking zones, does not feel deserted and often have unique looking sims, I also like worlds where it feels like I'm not forced to play the pack-specific content.

And here are my reasons explained a little more in depth:Spoiler
I'm moving.
I like San Myshuno a lot, it has a lot of character, the sims feel unique, although the game sure likes to spawn ugly townies in this world... but the zones are well made, the world never feels deserted.
I have always liked Oasis Springs and Willow Creek, they feel classic. We have the Goths, Pancakes etc... and a lot of zones and lots.
Sulani is a very pretty world with unique sims, the devs did a good job with it with the exception of the island, the three off-the grid lots there feels wasted in my opinion.
Cool.
Snowy Escape is cool, is very pretty pretty and the lots are very nice and I like that the sims there are often specific sims, zones feels too big though so it feels a bit deserted.
Del Sol Valley is a very good looking world but is too small instead, it's missing a third zone for sims who want to live in middle sized houses.
Does the job.
Strangerville, Brindleton Bay, Evergreen Harbor and Britechester are good if you want to play the pack that comes with them (doing the investigation, having pets, restoring the environment, study at the university etc.) but if you don't want to do that the worlds become less fun to live in in my opinion and the game wastes a lot of sims walking around specific to the world (scientists, students, strays etc.).
Newcrest is empty and Windenburg is okay but has a lot of weird zones which feels like they lack character and barely any sims walking around.
Selvadorada is pretty, but you can't live there and it's very centered around the market or doing exploration in the jungle.
Useless.
Magnolia Promenade, I only use this zone for shops, I never visit it otherwise. The world feels like an extension of Willow Creek.
Forgotten Hollow is empty, feels empty, it looks kinda cool I guess and is nice if you play a vampire...I guess. But sims walking around are either ugly generated vampires or random sims who have no reason walking around there.
Glimmerbrook is kinda pretty but has no character whatsoever, and the world sure has a lot of roads and driveways for a game that has no cars that you can own!? Magic realm is kinda nice but it's just one zone and Magic HQ is not a very pretty lot and the sims generated there are ugly as sin unless you use mods.
Granite Falls is nice but is very basic and small, just two zones and a secret area, sims walking around in bear costumes are lame as well...
Delete.
You can't live on Batuu, only thing you can do is travel between the three zones doing missions over and over again. It's nice that the sims feel very unique though, even if they are just normal sims in masks. - texxx785 years agoSeasoned Acehttps://tiermaker.com/create/worlds-in-the-sims-4-789576

I'm Moving are worlds I use a lot or just love the feel of.
Cool are worlds I enjoy some aspect of but don't use as much.
Does The Job are world I hardly ever use but can respect as they are needed for a specific purpose.
Useless are worlds I never use.
