On sims 4: About the surprising/ shocking finds/ events
First: I have had Sims 4… Ermm… On and off for reasons since it came out.
I can honestly say in the whole time I have *NEVER* EVER downloaded or use any created content— nor am I a creator. No where near the needed imagination 😰
But after today doing some household appearance changes, adding in just stuff from Starwars Journey to Batuu, Island Living (personal favorite) & Halloween or was it Spooky stuff…?
Anyhow, using these to make one or more in the house look the beach bum sort lol. Altering base game households of interest and… After uploading to my gallery— incase there where ppl who’d like the changes and for giggles.
The game posted on it this blue wrench symbol saying something about Custom content.
Ummm?? 🤔😰😒 What? Does the game regard some of it’s own content, like maybe those special clothing items that were added a bit back— I think might have been.. base on the ideas or concepts of some players…?
I just don’t have/ use or feel the need for CC… Just the pack items and base. So I was and am baffled lol.

Also lol, base sims and selected to use only Starwars, Island living & Halloween items but lol… I guess cause of lil things like selected Winter wear and possible obtained things while the sims did their own thing cause the packs label to add on more packs down there lol 😂 (Seasons btw is my second fav pack but— eh, thought Batuu items more interesting & different for winter wear lol 😂)
Second: A while back I was playing with one of the BFF house members in the Detective career and uploaded her before I stopped and got bored with the save…. Today I saw her up to near 200 downloads; now given it was a sim I, myself uploaded, it’s a shocker!! Plus it’s a base game sim so the odds of people downloading it are Dismal at best— I figured lol 😝

So in short Today/ This Time, got a surprise that wasn’t/ isn’t good and is confusing and a nice surprise!
Game and developers always got surprises but most are good/ great. Loved the ‘gender preference’ thing they added in, in an update. Really cool idea!
