On the subject of Sesons

I think snowboarding/surfing may come in another EP or GPs, but not in Seasons. That sounds like the kind of things that would need a new world to fit right, and I doubt they are going to release a new world in a Seasons EP.

I would love to see all of that in the game but I am not even sure we are going to get a seasons pack. I seriously think we are going to get a snow pack or summer pack or a rainy day pack. I no longer believe we are going to get a full seasons experience. I hope I am wrong. I hope they wow and amaze us but I do not have much faith in the future content of the game at this point. I really really want to be wrong though.

I want the park lots to change again.

It most definitely won't be as extensive and the TS3 Seasons was (considering they made a whole GP just for vampires). We might get a new world but I am more curious what features they decide to include.

I think it's possible we'll get a winter destination in Seasons because I don't see TS4 going much longer then 2020. Gamepack vacation destinations are atleast a year off. I figure we'll get a beach destination in a Gamepack but other GPs will focus on stuff like Uni Life,Witches etc.

Can't see this happening. We'll get a Seasons Pack with all the weather.

Plot twist, we get a new world with a beachfront AND mountains for seasons! Like Cali :) It would easily be doable. Skiing in the winter, head down to the beach in any weather

Honestly in Sims 4, if they were to make a Seasons pack I’m almost certain that they’re going to focus more so on the effects and consequences of weather rather than add seasonal realated activities. So possible things like alternative electricity options, more ways for things to go wrong in your house like leaky roofs, flooded basements, power outages, different weather behaviour in the different worlds so each world has a unique weather experience, weather affecting the mood of the Sims, weather affecting the development of skills, etc. I’m sure there would still be things like build a snow man/igloo, have a snow ball fight, rake leaves, and possibly some new things mow the lawn, shovel driveway (if cars are in the game by this point), etc. But bonus things like snow boarding and skating I think would be left to another pack this time around.

If we're getting a full seasons pack, with appropriate weather in all worlds, they probably won't give us a new world -- we didn't get a new world for Seasons in Sims 3. Not sure what sort of seasonal activities we'll get.
