One of the many unnecessary things I do because of this game

Every once in a while, for who knows why, I get this urge to rewatch the trailers yes for any of the expansions or whatever probably because they are like their own little stories and some of the music is fun. I don't know if I'm really just strange or if other people do that but yeah, also relistened to Come to Windenburg and now I need to make a new family for that world lol.

The point? Well watching the regular trailer for get together I forgot that they had Morgan kiss Paolo and if you don't know them just by name, they are both premades and Morgan is a teen and he isn't, I mean yes normal game the teens are 18/19 but I wonder why they didn't age him down in game so they could actually be a thing.

Feel free tell me I'm not strange cause you also have weird sims related habits.

Re-watching trailers is fun! I sometimes do that for my favorite premades.

My strange habit is that I google an excessive amount of information of which maybe 10% make it into my builds and stories. For several months I was an expert on New South Wales history (by now I have forgotten most of it), I learned a lot about foxes (for my werewolves) and bats (for my vampires) and at one point this year I looked up how many babies in Detroit were named "Jericho". It's crazy, but also fun.

Added: It's also strangely fun to see all the website popups that think I'm looking for a job, a flight ticket, a college for my kids or kneecap surgery in the Detroit metropolitan area. And that's with an active adblocker, without would probably be a nightmare.

@EnkiSchmidt yes! Right? I don't know some of them are just really nice my favorite game play one is discover university even ahead of the windenburg song but they can all be fun. Don't even get me started on get famous.

I mean that is still pretty cool I have definitely been trapped in a temporary research loop just for the sake of a build or a story, which can actually be fun too. You know, Jericho is a really nice name, yeah you really need an adblocker you don't have to tell me what searching things up for this game, even in an offhand sort of way, will give you everything you really don't need :D When I got the itch to build from floor plans the house plans and such I would start finding, and "afforable renting" no where near me gee.

also I end up rewatching lots of old films going " I wonder if there was cool house there somewhere i could build in sims"

currently trying to not rewatch whole hercule poirot series just to look at houses i could build in henford

@Simmingal It is funny how it gets in your head, even when we were in the base game there was always a feel of what could I do now, which started the old cycle lol. I should build more then maybe I could do that too that sounds like fun, so I don't know maybe you should do a rewatch and build ha.

yeah my main annoyance is that lots of the streaming apps/sites don't let you take screenshots anymore so it becomes very annoying trying to re find the image of house or doing some insane "take a picture of screen with camera" nonsense or watching same episode million times or so just trying to find the part where they drive past random house :lol:

like I'm watching this one series now and they drive past this whole block of fancy cape cod houses and I was immediately like "Brindleton Bay! finally inspo for brindleton bay!" but i have no idea what ep that was anymore ?
