Oh and I agree with people up thread... the weather, as amazingly made as it is, just doesn't work with the rest of the game. Festivals becomes death traps. But then they solved that by making costumes all winter proof. So tourists still walk around in shorts and Hawaii shirts in the middle of a blizzard and don't freeze. The cosplayers don't freeze. Food Stand people don't freeze. But the sims around them, playing basketball or whatever? Dying quickly.
And it's not only festivals but it is what stands out to me.
I really REALLY feel they put the wrong climate on San Myshino. The city reads to me (with the name, as well) like a mix between San Fransisco, Berlin and some asian cities. Put the tempereature there too! How about muggy foggy summers and rainy but mostly not snow winters? Seems far better to me.
The only fix is to turn off temperature effects, which instead makes the whole pack redundant.
