Only in San Myshuno... ?

I was just going about my business, tiring my sim couple out a bit before bed ;) when I noticed a random NPC, down below in the street, running frantically in nothing but a towel.

I was quite tickled, but then became distracted by another NPC walking angrily towards said sim in the towel.

I'm not sure which is the bigger distraction. :D I also get the feeling that perhaps my sims should move to a better area.. :#

I have a few townies that walk around San Myshuno in swimsuits and luchador masks, which is easily the strangest combo I've seen so far. I'll try to get some pictures later today if I encounter them.

yes, I've got some of these townies wandering around too. It seems they are pre-made townies, mostly they are in an angry mood, and the secret of the game is what do they want to tell us. This is at least what I've read about them, but I can't give any link because at first I didn't pay attention to it and now I regret that. maybe I can find it back googling on some passwords. I'm very interested.

They're generated for each save, not pre-made. All the Sims 4 pre-mades live in houses/apartments; they're the ones who live there when you start a new save or add a new pack that has new lots to live in.

Many of the odd Sims in San Myshuno have the insane trait - and you'll notice them instead of the "homeless" park Sims that turn up in other worlds (but who can also be housed, played Sims). I haven't gone through to check the traits of all of them in my save, but it can be done via Manage Households.
  • I love this addition to the game, especially the ones that sleep on the benches. Not saying, that it's a funny thing to those who unfortunately are homeless in real life, but it adds some realism to my game since I see these things everyday living in the city.

I think that's why by far, City living is my favorite EP. I finally can make a Sim who struggles with rent and life...I can finally add a piece of me, of my culture and my environment to the game. I just wish there were more ethnic hairstyles and urban clothes...things that I see people wearing everyday. But thanks to my recent addiction to CC, I have all that I need.

  • I'm originally from Los Angeles, so seeing all the "weirdness" isn't new. Anyone who has lived or still lives in any large city knows there's always something going on.
  • I didn’t use San Myshuno that much in my game but when I finally did, I found Nancy Langraab and Mortimer wearing these weird flower tops with socks and sandals and a guy only in a towel ran past my sim screaming.

At least my weirdo townie has legit reason to RUN!
