I loved the open world of TS3. Disnt really have any issues with textures loading and i didnt have to control all the sims in that household, they would do their own thing and take care of themselves.
But I don't think open world is possible with TS4. I also don't mind the loading screen, they've never really bothered me guess that's from my TS1 and TS2 days. I will say that it would be nice if individual neighborhoods were open.
