Option to disable vampires?
If I can recall, I think there was an option to disable these kinds of things in the Sims 3. Is there an option to disable vampires so that we can use the new content and world but without the fantasy...

This would be a good answer if all the build items and new neighborhood could be downloaded for free.
I don't want to lessen your enjoyment of the game by having EA/Maxis mess with vampires either, but for those of us who just want more lots and the new items there should be a way to turnoff vampires and aliens in the option menu like in sims 3.
Sims 3 is an open world and the worlds are not connected so it can use toggles - that isnot how Sims 4 is made. Also the world is made to spawn vamps so if there was a way to toggle off the vamps then the world would surely not work with out them spawnable. The 3 main vamps respawn - it is part of the programming. It is not like other worlds just like the camping world is not like other worlds. You cannot just live in OR world - you can not rent lots like in the OR in any other world. You can't hunt herbs and bugs in other worlds, just OR. It is a Unique world; so is the Vamp world. It is not made for regular Sims. To change that would alter the programming and people who want vamps in their game would have that altered. We paid or are paying for the Vamp pack as it is and expect it to stay that way and not be messed up like aliens were with the changes to them in GTW after we bought and owned the game.
You change the programming it will change the game and the pack - that is obvious.
