Other PLAYED households progressing and having kids when not played

Wow! I might just have to look into adding MCCC to my game. My play style is exactly the same as the OP's friend. I play one household but most of my other households are relatives that I invite over for get togethers but rarely do I load those households. I was planning on adding children to some of them and thought I'd have to play through the pregnancies. With MCCC are you able to name the child when you receive notification of the birth?
