Meet Oleander and Leonore, a new couple who bought an old abandoned house in Brindleton Bay. They heard some stories that the house is haunted but thought the rumours were just that, rumours an nothing more. Until first night in when Oleander saw a strange green light outside his house and went to inspect it and found himself dusted in spectral dust.

Later that night, these little guys showed up. Thankfully they didn't scare the welcome wagon away. Turns out Leonore loves fruitcake.

So far so good, the specters didn't seem terribly annoying, Leonore and Oleander thought they could live peacefully together in this big beautiful house. However, some nights later, Guidry the ghost shows up.

One night Oleander slipped and hurt his back after he stepped in slimy good left behind by the specters. He cleaned up and said he won't be scared off by such things.

But Guidry came again, next night.

Most nights though he liked to hang out in the kitchen.

and sometimes in the dining room too...where his portrait hang up on the wall.

And so our friends spent night after night being woken up by their friendly and not so friendly house guests.

Oleander sometimes found it helpful to talk to the big rag doll on the shelf in the living room, she's been there for so long, he felt she must understand how he feels about the ghosts.

But he liked talking to Leonore best. And her cooking had improved since they moved here. And they even made some new friends.

Sure, the house needs some repairs and refurbishments, but it is home, their own home, and they can't wait to start a family together. Maybe the ghosts will move out eventually.
