This latest update has changed my merman's eyes back to human, meaning that I can no longer link his mer-eyes to his land form in CAS (as this has STILL not been fixed), meaning I will now have to re-download an old save of him from the gallery and lose all relationships with his fellow islanders. Thanks EA. 😒
It would be better to wait a while before giving up and re-downloading your merman unless you plan to use a mod to fix relationships quickly. Your merman may be broken again after re-adding too if the bug isn't fully fixed.
The current situation is not good for long-played and serious save files. There may be many more hidden broken data waiting to be found because even premade special sims such as Guidry also have bugs.
