Like the new ponytail and the loc hair. I don't like the feminine style's baby hairs, and I wish we got a version without them. Baby hairs are cute IRL. But to me, they clash with the simple clay-like hair we get with Sims 4's style. It looks like Maxis Mix CC. The locs avoid this because the extra hair is stubble and blends in SO WELL with certain facial hair.
Hate the dye option on the locs. The Sims 4 rarely pairs good color pairs together. I'd like to see them make dyed hair something you can add on to sims. Like some CC hair I use has a tattoo that applies split/ombre/streaks to any hair, and I can choose the dye's color separately. It doesn't work on all hairs, but I think the Sims team should look into something like that. Just have basic hair styles, and a Dye button that will color certain, pre-determined sections of that hair.
Not a fan of the inclusive language change. I'm glad we have it, it's great that my sims can be nonbinary is no longer called Aunt/Uncle by family, or Boyfriend/Girlfriend by their partner. But I feel like it could have been more of an opt-in than the default, because most people don't use gender-neutral language all the time, regardless of context. Idk if the option to change/rename relationships came in this update, or is part of the EP?
I like the Simology panel addition in theory, but considering the Simology panel is so enormous as it is, I know it's also going to be annoying. We have Likes/Dislikes, Fears, Traits, Fame, Characteristics, Milestones, Lifestyles, and multiple Enter CAS options
