the update is nice so far though I wonder why they said they want to be more inclusive but took away husband, fiance why can't we have both groups of terms? That is a valid question

I agree that it's not really inclusive if they exclude gender appropriate terms. They should offer the alternative of the gender ambiguous terms for those who want to use them but not remove the traditionally gendered options.

A little heads up, if you use the copy feature in CAS it will copy the item to ALL outfits in the chosen category. So if you have 5 outfits for hot weather, and you really like the new pants you've selected to be on one of them and you choose copy to hot weather, it will replace the bottoms on all five outfits, not just the first one. In other words, use with care and consideration.

Glad to see they've finally fixed the Top Notch Toddler bug. I have so many young adults who missed out from this in their early life due to this bug!

Wow would you look at that. Horse Lover trait now affects social compatibility with sims that like or dislike Pet Enthusiasts!
No self-discovery moments to Horse Ranch traits still though... The issue is reported here.

You can see "NPC Relationship Autonomy" has been removed from EP12 High School Years, now it's a part of the basegame under "Allow Friendly Invites and Requests" in the Gameplay tab

Well, this update just broke my game. None of the bottom right hand UI items, except the simology panel, show at all and the simology panel is broken because every one of my sims looks like this:
There is no scroll at the right hand side to move it up or down, all the life skills that are showing have arrows flashing all at the same time and no other aspects are there.
Also, the three buttons at top right hand corner no longer work so I cannot go into game options or exit the game (unless I task manager out). The bottom left - calendar doesn't work, phone is missing parts, notebook doesn't work. Going into build mode has made it stick in build mode and I can no longer get back into live mode.
IT IS WELL AND TRULY BROKEN.

The language for Sims’ relationships now is more neutral to be more inclusive.
“Husband / Wife” → “Spouse”
Of course only in English.
In French Spouse has still Masculine and Feminine forms : "Époux" (M) / "Épouse" (F).

It depends a lot on the language, in Italian (which has a very close grammar to French) they were able to find the word "coniuge" which works for all genders. It's all up to the individual grammars anyway, but it's nice to see that (for once) they were able to find and use a neutral term also in a very gendered language like ours.

Did anyone check out the updates to Neighborhood Stories yet? I was so excited about that, but it seems they are broken (it only worked once for Sims that are already living in the same household). I created a bug report.
I'm a mod creator and a bunch of my mods need updates, but now I spent all my energy on testing a feature that apparently doesn't work at all (one of my mods does something similar so it was important for me to know) 😩
