I would be happier with these wonderful holiday and cultural items from the latest pack if they fixed "San Myshuno's festival bug + related bugs".
I'm not sure if it's safe to play the game with the main save like now. If this bug can be fixed retrospectively without having to create a new save file. I will play soon.
Right now, I just play for the Cozy event and try not to make much progress. I have to pause my "university" save because it's almost unplayable right now.
It's holiday month for the game team right now. I don't expect that there will be any bug-fixing until the next month. I understand this and will wait patiently until then.
Dine Out is not fixed. It's still a glitchy mess(The staff show up when they want to... kind of like in the real. LOL!) but I will be patient too because I paid for this DLC to work and it's a huge part of my game.

So, Dine Out has the problem too? I didn't touch Dine Out for a long time so don't know the recent situation.
In my save, the "Staff missing" issue can be fixed by inviting them to the lot manually before opening the restaurant. If you can't see the "invite to the current lot" from the employee icon in the relationship tab, try using MCCC to invite.
There are many problems that I have to fix on-site. And many of the issues I forgot that it's fixed because of MCCC settings or minor mods. So, when I suggest the solution I know, I have to mention that it may need mods.
BTW, from what I remember before on hiatus, your restaurant's progress is so amazing. I hope you're doing well during this situation.
I don't have MCCC in my game however I am going to still try to figure out how to get my waiters to show up for work.
My chefs are getting paid more so there's more motivation for them to come in.
The host is special...if they don't show up, I have to open and close the restaurant immediately...and then the waiters don't show up. It's a huge buggy circle.
I'm going to play my game and see what I can do despite the bug. 😉🙂
