So were in a new month it's time to speculate on the Next Patch.
I don't see that much happening this month except for bug fixes and I hope there will be a lot of them before the Summer Expansion Pack releases. I'd be really surprised if we get any new free content this month.
Next month maybe a big pre ep patch or that could come in July depending on when the Next Expansion comes.
I just want the team to focus on fixing longterm bugs in the game including fishing and indoor weather.
It doesn't make sense to keep adding new EP's to a base that needs fixing.
I want new gameplay and DLC.
Realistically I need the game to work and run healthy on my PC.
Slow it down with production and concentrate on fixing issues.
There's no competitor or race right now. The Sims is over 25 years old...full grown adult and nobody's catching up yet.
I just wish they would bring back the old High School Years UI, the way they “fixed” it, it works worse than before. At this point I'd rather have a single active teenager than this disaster.
Otherwise I think this May will be pretty quiet.
If they don't fix the Sulani fishing bug I'm not going to buy any more EPs. What happened to that core group of people that were working solely on bug fixes? I was so excited to hear about that, but now their is virtual radio silence about major bug fixes. When a game-breaking bug occurs, we get no news until there is an emergency patch. More communication about what is being worked on would be helpful. Maybe a little "behind-the-scenes" video about how the group goes about doing bug fixes. As a player who has all of the packs/kits, I feel abandoned when I don't get honest and upfront communication about what is going on. I don't want to abandon this game, I've invested too much into it and I love it and appreciate the hard work that goes into making it, but please keep us more informed.
I'm hoping the train watching bug is fixed. Train Watching is still broken. Its most likely caused by a routing failure bug.

I tried this in my game yesterday and my sim happily sat and watched trains (though actually there was only one!) without a problem.
I don't expect a big patch. Let's hope we can get some decent bug fixes. I hope we can get sulani elementals that are not all elders back. And being able to use for rent without risking a save file is long overdue. And hopefully no more rain indoors.
perhaps a few nice new objects or clothes alongside the bug fixes.

My sims try to go watch the train and turn around. Its a bug that is effecting some people and is caused by routing failure to the benches. In some cases sims will even go off the map. Your lucky your not having this issue. Even Iron Seagull had it.
That sounds really disappointing. I hope it’ll get fixed. I always find it weird how bugs affect some but not others. Glad I don’t have this particular one — though I have plenty of others.
I wish they’d bring back the team that was concentrating on fixing lots of bugs. They did well for a while but seem to have eased off again now. With even more packs seemingly on the way we really need them back permanently.
Given that churning out EPs has helped bring record profits as of late, I doubt EA has any intention of stopping that.
