Anything you upload to the Gallery automatically becomes the property of Maxis; uploading custom content on the Gallery, even though it does not transfer (unless you have the same piece in your Mods folder), technically becomes the property of Maxis and is no longer the property of the person who has created the piece of custom content.
This. Kinda. The "property" that he claims Maxis owns doesn't actually exist. Its just a game. You only made a a Sim or a building. It's not like you made something that's going to make you money. If money isn't involved, then it doesn't really matter what someone else does with something you uploaded into a Cloud service.
