How do pets interact with the new "animals" cows, chickens etc? can they chase the bunnies?

Unfortunately not a lot of game changers have said much abt cross pack functionality. I just see iron seagull posting some tweets and platinum simmer made an article (and they said they didn't see pets interacting with farm animals) but that was it.
