I wasn't aware you COULD do that!

Go to the vet and click on the vending machine, and buy a age down treat
Or turn aging on and wait for the pet to age up (should only take a couple of days) :)

Thanks Woolenhat but if I turn on aging then my Sims will age and I dont' want them to I usually use the Birthday Cake to age them up except none playables.

You can buy a pet age treat at vet clinic

Go to the vet clinic and buy an Age-Up treat from the vending machine. In the pre-made clinic in Brindleton Bay, the vending machine is next to the door.
