Before locking her in, I made sure they were at nemesis status so when she would die, my Sim would celebrate.
And she rejoiced, three Sim days later. Had to stay on the lot during the process. A glorious success, nevertheless.
It actually worked? I tried to do something similar recently, although if you ask me, it was justified. This was a neighbor that kept invading himself over with the "I'll make myself at home and eat your food, I know you don't mind, and even if you do, I'll stay anyway" line. He did not have a key, and never had. He'd leave when asked, only to do it again, and again, and again, and again. Even after they were enemies. I guess that locking the door would have kept him out, but since the game considers keys and locks to be unrelated, that would have meant also locking out sims who were actually supposed to be able to enter the apartment. And why should my sim's close relatives be locked out over his behavior?
But he would not die of starvation. He was shut up in a room with absolutely nothing, nobody came in or out, and my sim was there the whole time, but whenever his hunger got down to a critical level, it just mysteriously went back up again. I eventually ended up using the "kill sim" cheat in MCCC, because he just would not die from not eating.
