Photography Club Option Non-Existant

Also want this. My fan club for my celebrity couple needs to have this (ideally it'd be in the socials, so you could set a target).

Taking photos and increasing photography should be in because you gave us the perk of improving photography, so it makes no sense if the club has no choice of taking pics as an activity for clubs.

Also excavating minerals and collecting treasures should be included imo. Why frogs and not minerals?

It's probably a targeting issue. I don't think I've ever seen a sim take a picture that isn't a selfie autonomously.

Please, is anyone at EA listening to us? A Photography Club is a must for my gameplay.

But NPC sims can't take pictures besides that selfie option which doesn't even count towards the skill.

Unless you guys want NPCs interupting you for pictures you didn't want to take (and be honest with yourselves; you know NPCs would spam the heck out of it) , I don't think this is something that can be implemented. Group activities are meant to be done in groups and not just your active sim.

As a photographer, I would also like the Photography club!. :)

You can only take selfies, pictures etc. as an ACTIVE sim. I have not seen a NPC sim do that in the game. All the other skills and activities were included because those actions can be done whether or not you are on the active sim or not.

I'm sorry to bring disappointment but unless they update the game to allow NPC's to take photos themselves (which I hope does not open a bunch of bugs), then there is no possibility of seeing a Photography club in the game.

I would also like this addition and can see no reason why it couldn't be implimented.
There is no reason why club members that you aren't actively controlling have to take REAL pictures. It could simply be an animation that is added in so that during club meetings, other club members would pull out a camera or their phone if they don't own a camera, play out an animation for taking a photo and that be it.
It wouldn't be a very interactive club gathering but then they don't all have to be. The club would still be able to gain points from Sims taking pictures and your active Sim could take as many as they like.
You could even decorate their hangout with pictures your Sim has taken.

Yes I am especially shocked that you can't have collectible clubs. I think a photography club would also be cool.
