Photography update

What? Is this a specific interaction? Because if it is, that's fantastic!

I was hoping for a specific "Take photo of wedding couple" - is that a new option too? *plz*

I think this came with the patch bc I don't have the wedding pack yet. I had my sims taking family pics at the park and previously I couldn't do adults and toddlers together unless the adult was holding the toddler at which point kid sims couldn't be included. Now it gives the option to take pics of toddler, child, and adult sims all in one shot. I am also hoping for some new photography options with the wedding pack but so far I haven't seen any GC posting about photography.

I looked into my game and couldn't find the option.

It occurs to me that I was using the tripod that came with machino stuff, that may be the difference in why it worked for me and not you, at which point this would need to be in pack discussions I suppose instead of base game. Either way the option was not there before and now it is so I am happy to see the change. If you like to do photography with your sims and you don't yet have the machino stuff pack I would consider the purchase purely for the photography options.

Ah, the proverbial family shot taken at most weddings. Way cool.

Ah, that solves everything. Yes, it is indeed possible to do that way.

This option has been in the game ever since the stuff pack launched. Though I'm afraid only up to three sims can be put in a photo.

However, I did notice something different. I could change the pose of sims while taking a picture normally/without tripod (which I remember wasn't possible when it launched).

I just was taking some family photos a week or so ago and didn't have that option and had to send the photographer back home to get the tripod, so that has to be new with the last update. That's pretty awesome.

I just tested it out. Yes, that is so at least for me. Works with toddlers, children, and older sims.

Works with phones and photo cameras, but not with Get To Work's photo studio.

Tripod also has the pose change option.
