- moderateospreyNew SpectatorThe method I use to get rid of stuck traits requires UI Cheats and MCCC.
First use UI Cheats to clear the visible trait in Simology by right clicking it, You then need to remove the hidden buff using MCCC - click Sim, select MCCC | MC Cheats | Cheat Sim Info | Mood/Buff Control | Remove Buff
Just leave the box blank and select OK. Scroll through the list until you find Picky Eater - click it to remove.
Loud is another one that sticks.
Someone may know the actual cheat commands to do the above if you are unable to install mods. - cornflake89Rising NewcomerIn my experience, if I get the child to just have quick meals, they will get a buff about not eating properly, then the picky eater trait usually goes away
- In my game the teens always carry over the trait and because I play with aging and off and have a communal teen lot, they'll often get a new trait. Not sure if this was always the case because I didn't play as teens for more than the time it took to become an A student. Now that I do have teens much longer, they gets new traits or keep them from childhood.
I remove them by shift clicking the sim, cheat sim info, remove trait, scroll and find trait (picky eater etc) highlight and remove it. If it isn't in cheat sim info it's just further down in the shift click menu. - GrumpyGlowfishSeasoned NewcomerI had a child like that once, and couldn't get the phase to end no matter what I did, not via normal in-game methods and not with cheats. Then I discovered that the UI Cheats Extension mod allows you to remove traits, and that's what I did. Because as I said, nothing else worked. This needs to be fixed.
