Piranhas after latest patch??

I always have some fruits in my sims inventories in case they get starving when they are out of the house - and sometimes I use their garden pickings for bait just to see what they catch. But I was not aware of what fish were in Strangerville - so it was not intentional. My sim caught that the day the patch came out but it was before the new pack came out - so just the patch.
He only caught the one piranha - but he caught other fish there in multiples. My sim was only level 6 I believe. He did go to level 7 that evening but I do believe he was just level 6 when he caught that - but I could be wrong - he might have been at level 7 already. I just keep thinking he wasn't yet.
Thank you!! I’ll see if I can get a less skilled sim out there with some strawberries in tow. I’ll do anything at this point to catch this menace ?
