Planning a Sims 4 wedding?

I have since dispensed with a majority of the pre-wedding events. I may throw an engagement dinner, so that the family and friends are at least notified. With the weddings, while I still try with each couple, it's basically hit or miss. But, I just go into the event knowing this ahead of time and I snap pictures so I have something to share, story wise, even if the whole thing ends up a bust. By that I mean, the Officiant is late or doesn't show up at all. I have it both ways. A few times he not only showed up in the proper attire but the wedding itself commenced and the couple got married. Of course, my couples have a really bad aim when it comes to the Spousal kiss at the end of the ceremony. They bonk heads, at first. I find it hilarious, myself.

But in the grand scope of things rarely do RL weddings come off smoothly. There is almost one thing that goes wrong, somewhere. Anymore, I just take it with a grain of salt. You almost have to. I would rather laugh than cry over it, that much is certain. And the first time my Ring Bearer showed up and did his thing, I almost cried for joy.

So in the end, it is worth it.
