I've played PlantSims in TS2 & TS3, and once in TS4 in a Scenario challenge. I had fun with it. Still playing that sim now (Fern in Ciudad Enamorada). Maybe she'll revisit her PlantSim experience! 😃

I just saw Pixelade's vid about this, simgirl1010. I'm very excited about it. I'm also hoping that they pass along the plant sim update to the base game sometime within the next year as well.

The main problem of plantsims is not addressed. Nearly every request for updated plantsim I have come across over the past years starts with making them a permanent state. As long as they are temporary, their plantsim nature is not a real part of who they are. Plantsim is something my sims should be, not something that happens to them temporarily.
If plantsims finally get an update and still remain a temporary affliction, that's a huge missed opportunity.
Also no mention of free choice of hairstyle (we have every hair in green to suit plant sims!) or growing Plantsim offspring.

Maybe they will give us options for the plantsim timer? Like choosing to make it permanent.
Or, maybe, there's a new potion (reward or otherwise) that can be used to make the plant sim life state permanent? Or, even, it could be requested from Spruce Almighty (the Green Man) after completing a quest line?? Like going through the quest line to earn the potion to become a fairy. 🤞🏼

No, you're still able to play that event's quest line, logionX. Pretty sure that was the Magic Bean event, if I'm remembering correctly. In any case, a search can be done about how to become a plant sim and the information will come up.

No, you just need the Magic PlantSim Stump item from base game (Build and Buy > Objects by Room > Outdoors > Outdoor activities or Objects by Function > Activities and Skill > Outdoor Activities) and complete the Magic Beans collection. You can find the Magic Beans by opening Rare Seeds packets, scavenging as a Werewolf, or other means of finding random collectibles like digging, fishing, etc.

It's a base game update.

The first posts says 'Here's what we're updating in Enchanted by Nature for the Plantsims'
The improvements for plantsims will be like the improvements for ghosts, only available with a certain DLC. There will be a base game update but the plantsim changes won't be part of the update itself

You're correct, I misread, my bad.

Why do PlantSims have to stay a temporary life state? I'm glad they're getting some updates, but it doesn't address the core issue which is they're just a temporary buff and not a real occult. Are we going to have different hairstyles available for PlantSims? It's like two steps forward, one step back.
