@bshag4lv I'm confused, the mod doesn't mention anything about plant reverting. - Lori57Seasoned TravelerI have been checking this out in my many save games.
The only times my plants "revert" as your calling it, are.
When they are out of Season, I am guessing Maxis did this so the plant you put all your hard work into didn't die like in real life.
When you move a plant from one location to another or put it in your inventory, re-potting often kills plants in real life.
When you play another lot from the same save, thus missing the daily routine of plant care.
I have never had all of my plants revert at the same time, I may just be lucky.
If you want constant harvests, put your plants in a greenhouse.
If your plants are reverting at the change of Seasons, check and see, they are probably out of season, and are supposed to be dormant.
The bees are dormant in winter.
I don't know how many of you are gardener's, but in real life it is frustrating and heartbreaking when all your hard work has been demolished by a couple of possums overnight or eaten by insects. And don't get me started on what Cockatoo's do to your passion fruit vines. :) - I’ve already deleted my save that I’ve been referring to in this thread, but I was playing Rags to Riches style, and I play on 28 day seasons. So I was rarely leaving the lot, and the season never changed. The only thing that made it less annoying was the plant would maintain the quality it was before it reverted to dirt. But, it still reverted nevertheless.
I think sometimes it’s just luck with glitches, like you said @lori171957. I generally don’t experience bugs, but I’ve been experiencing them lately, and the gardening one sucked because I was playing a challenge where the whole point is gardening. I guess my luck has run out. - @lori171957 It's definitely a bug. It's on well taken plants that are in season. Maybe it doesn't fix old saves but otherwise it's a bug that hasn't been fixed.
- mightyspritesimsSeasoned HotshotThese fixes help my pile-of-dirt plants most (not all) of the time:
-Put plant into household inventory, then put it back in the pot/ground
-If that doesn't fix it, exit game and repair game in Origin. - bshag4lvSeasoned Adventurer

There was a post on a thread like this one, about the gardening glitch and this was the recommended solution. I have many LittleMsSam mods, so I dl'ed this one and it worked. No, I didn't see anything about that particular action, but it does work. Sorry for the confusion. :) - inmyeyeNew SpectatorI just installed the patch two days ago. I also have used LMS gardening mod for quite a while. Despite using the gardening mod my plants were reverting back to dirt piles. As far as I know that gardening mod will not stop your plants from reverting. I installed the patch and I updated the LMS gardening mod at the same time. I can say that my plants are not reverting now. I cannot say whether it is the patch or the mod.
One thing I will mention is that Eco caused that bug. (That's how long it has been going on) Is it possible that the bug is still related to Eco? I do not play Eco. It just doesn't appeal to me. I'm wondering if the players that are still experiencing the bug are playing Eco? - Lori57Seasoned Traveler

I have no doubt it is a glitch. I am just explaining I can't replicate it in my game, and believe me I tried. New games, Old games and everything in between.
Maybe EA staffers are having the same problem. - Karababy52New SpectatorI have had my plants revert to dirt piles ever since Eco was dropped, so yes, the pre-patch for this pack was the cause of this bug. Since then, it has made no sense at all when the plants revert to dirt piles. I've had it happen just randomly, when the seasons change, when moving them around the lot, putting them in household inventory and yes, this even happens with plants inside, sheltered in plant boxes. Makes no difference in my game whether they are inside or outside, or what world they are living in, it still happens. Oh and I have all the Eco elements turned off by default in my custom template saves, so having them off or on makes no difference either.
So far it has not happened since the patch for my Sims now living in Evergreen Harbor with all Eco elements implemented. However, I waited to have them plant their garden until after the patch and it's nearing the end of their first week of Summer in a 14 day season. Some of these plants are outside, some are sheltered. We will see how it goes. Just for information's sake this is an old save I started on January 1st of this year. All other incidences I mentioned in the first paragraph were saves of various sizes and lengths of time played. None of them anywhere near as long as my current save.
I sincerely hope this bug is once and for all, finally and completely fixed before HoB drops. Crops is one of the biggest features of the pack. o.O I'm sure judging by the variety of ways reverting has happened to me and many others, it must be a very hard bug to track and fix. Good luck Devs, I hope y'all can figure it out very soon! o.O
Happy Simming! <3
