I placed her in another save and she still has the trait.
She snuck off to StrangerVille and bought some strange fruit. She was able to plant the fruit in Forgotten Hollow. I am now waiting until 1 am to see what happens. Funny thing is the infected sim is Sookie Stackhouse.
