I thought they said during the livestream that played sims with story progression turned off wouldn't die when you're playing a different house (or rarely) but it's now happened in 2 of my 7 househol...

Oh no. I was hoping to return to my main save but if I can't protect my families from story progression, that would be awful.
I wonder if it makes any difference if this is switched off in general (for all families) or just individual families.
