Actually for me, it's like they don't exist, because I don't think about features I'm not using.

I had students, from my Hogwarts test-play, go to my Jungle Adventures outfitters store to copypasto some pricey relics and take the copies so that acting Headmistress McGonagal could pay for the crazy expensive bills that the school had racked up.

That's just me though, because my sims are mostly focused on High School and University.
So it's mostly base game, Parenthood, High School Years, Discover University, Get Together and Growing Together for me now.
A little bit of Snowy Escape and Journey to Batuu vacations for my students, but those are the only packs I am using heavily. My student sims have (CAS) parents, but I haven't been paying attention to their parent's careers much. That will be for the next generation.
I will be getting reacquainted with a lot of packs once everyone is out of Uni.
