Seriously, playing with Autonomy off kills off virtually every fruit-cake decision that The Sims Studio could ever think of to smash your stress levels through the roof.
It is like a new game.
Previously I had merely toggled Autonomy for the stress-full events such as high (blood pressure) chairs.
If you have never tried it - and you sometimes find the AI annoying and stressful - then try it.
Take control of your Sims lives - you are not stopping them from fulfilling their lives and doing interesting things - you are stopping The Sims Studio from smashing your game-play plans to pieces.
No more screaming at the monitor "NOOO!!! PUT THE TODDLER DOWN!" - "NOOO!!! DON'T PICK IT UP AGAIN!" - "NOOO!!! DON'T EAT THE FOOD YET!" - "NOOO!!! DON'T PUT THE TODDLER TO BED YET!" - "NOOO!!! DON'T TAKE THE TODDLER OUT OF THE HIGH CHAIR YOU VICIOUS, VICIOUS, VICIOUS, SAVAGE RODENT!".
I now feel at one with my game - it's like an escape route.
I have escaped to freedom.
I have arrived in Tranquility City - I have arrived on a one-way-ticket.
So you are saying that "we' have "total" control over our sims and then cannot make any moves without "us"? I have not tried this, but you have peaked my interest in trying this. I have always thought that the game was easier with the sims having full freedom over their actions. Hummm!!!
