Playing without updating?

Question

Hey all, is there a way to play the game after an update without updating your game? Whenever I start the game after an update, it always says “game unplayable until updated”. Maybe I’m not ready to update at the moment, but would rather play for a while without the latest update. Just curious more than anything else. Thanks.

I don't think the game needs to be updated to be playable, but I think the only way to prevent Origin from updating is to not have it connected it to the internet. You could try going into Offline Mode and seeing if it will let you play. You might also be able to change your Origin settings so that games don't update automatically.
