PLEASE ADD A BUILDING OPTION FOR MULTI HOUSEHOLD LOTS!

At first City Living seemed awesome, then I realized that I could not build my own multi household lots, or even just my own apartment buildings!

Just imagine the possibilities:

  • Row houses
  • Rental suites
  • Co-op housing
  • Custom apartment buildings
  • So much more!!!

The interactions with neighbors in City Living are already pretty good, and they could still use most of the same ones if they added a tool to make multiple houses on one lot (but they could also add some more). I imagine it can't be too hard, since they already made those apartments in San Myshuno, so why can't I build my own? ):

Comment if you agree or have thoughts on this or some new ideas that relate, let's show that this is an important thing to add in an update!!

I understand why EA dropped the 32-bit version of the game for Mac. But why drop it for TS4 if the team doesn't plan to create features that are more substantial?

They didn't drop the 32bit version for Mac. OSX is 64 bit - there was no 32 bit version. They dropped non-metal, which is different and probably affects more people.

I'm not a Mac user, correction noted. Thank you. Yet, why did EA drop the 32-bit version of TS4 for Windows if the team isn't going to take advantage of 64-bit in a substantive way? It would be very disappointing if the only reason is mainly to keep bloating the game with more CAS assets and static objects (stuff packs, in particular). Meanwhile, fewer resources seem to be devoted to more hefty GPs and EPs. Additional entertainment venues, gameplay systems such as an attraction system, traits that add more character individualization, functional whims based on traits, aspirations that don't serve as mini-guides to the latest pack, and opportunities for additional player customization all come to mind.

What I hope to see is that EA stops creating bar-type venues. Enough already. Likewise, I hope that they stop creating more ways to make a Sim blissfully happy. The game is already bursting at the seams with those.

  • Yes. I think it is time for TS4 to change how some of their basic systems work instead of spending all of their energy adding more and more objects and clothing. I don't want them to fix everything in TS5, because then I will have to make new worlds and households and buy all the packs again. They should just make TS4 really good.
