Please, Consider Non Mandatory Content Updates

I would love an option in game to hide and/or delete what we don't want to use.
There are soooooo many items within clothing, hair and makeup that are so hideous, even if I was creating an off-the-wall or quirky Sim, I would never think of using them. I'm sure that list will keep growing.
