Please FIX Dine Out. Please Make Get To Work function properly.

Makes me wish Maxis would spend as much time on making packs functional as they do on making a seemingly endless amount of them.

A million times yes. I regret buying Dine Out, I never use it much anymore because every time I do it takes up so much of my sims time or it completely bugs out and doesn't work. One time I took my Sims out on a dinner date ( 6 or 7pm) and they didn't finish until (6 or 7am) That's ridiculous. And this is if the food even comes at all haha. Definitely a lot of potential lost to bugs.

Yeah, sometimes the food doesnt even come ! :o @Trashmagic Another execution failure.

GTW : Get to work has a good concept but troubling execution. The cop career especially is very bugged out. Suspects who dont show. And clues missing at times. This is a $40 EP. Unacceptable for the main features to just not work properly. Fix them.

I have problems with waiters not properly cleaning the dishes, but the food gets always served quickly.

Well, im having major issues with the wait times. In fact, I didnt use dine out before because im more into multi-purpose community lots where my sims can get a bunch of activities in at one time. But I would see people saying Dine Out is the worst on the forum and I didnt know why because I didnt read the posts, but im certain its because of the laggy service. Its awful.

A lot of people who build them often put 2 chef stoves in the kitchen for some ridiculous reason. I have a suspicion that doing so throws things off. Im going to build my own restaurant with only 1 of each required object and see if things work better @alanmichael1

I always use two ovens and several dish stations, trash bins and sinks everywhere so that waiters don't have too long ways to go.

Can I ask what system you're running this game on? I'm always baffled by how many issues some simmers still report with Dine Out. I really don't have any of that stuff and I'm glad I don't because it's a very fun pack. Wish others would have the same experience. So I'm just wondering, because it might be CPU related?

Hmm 7th or 8th gen? Laptop or desktop? Weird though :/ it's not that I don't believe you're having these issues btw, I just wonder why some have them so much and others barely or not at all.

It's a new gen processor . I have 16gb RAM and I run on Ultra with an average FPS of 170 <3 Yes, its a laptop and laptops can run this game. Regardless it exceeds system requirements. So anyway, after I made this post I went and then built my own restaurant, to see if its just an issue with the gallery ones I was using before being less functional due to MOO cheats being overused and also the use of more than one of each required item. Basically just to test the pack itself. I didnt use MOO in my build at all and my Outdoor dining restaurant turned out beautifully . The food actually came in a timely manner. Not even a full sim hour. So, my guess is that a lot of builders are putting their restaurants together in a way that is less than functional way. Not slamming the creators, I love them even though I prefer to use my own lots. But they could ease up a little.

Because the restauraunt i built myself after making this post serves up food fast and again I did not use MOO. I am building my own lots now anyway, so its fine and I want to use MOO very sparingly. Im not sure that was the only issue going on. But its likely @SimTrippy
