Point of preorder?
What's the point of pre ordering a game? I always buy from origin and I never have issues with it. I don't want problems with pets though, could they run out of digital copies?

But you still got a valid contract with them a long time before the ordered goods will be delivered and so, your money is already "reserved" for them.
That's not true - at least for EA anyway - as they do not take or get YOUR money until the game is available for you to download. Now I cannot say the same thing for stores you may choose to buy from or even your bank that may put a hold on that amount of money as a pending hold - but EA gets nothing until you start downloading the game on release time or in the case of buying a physical game -then when it is shipped - that is the law. So if your bank or card holder is taking your money beforehand - then you need to talk with them and find out why unless that is a law in your country if you are not from the USA - then it might be a law where you live - but regardless - EA still does not get it until the download date or shipping date.
