Point of preorder?
What's the point of pre ordering a game? I always buy from origin and I never have issues with it. I don't want problems with pets though, could they run out of digital copies?

I think sometimes people who preordered expansions in the past have got it a day or so early. I'm not sure about this so don't quote me.

the point? to give them your money before you've had a chance to see any reviews.

If anything, you're better off holding out for a sale. Pre-ordering makes no sense if there's not a bonus involved.

Definitely a price increase in my country. But knowing EA it will be on sale shortly after.
It must be something to do with your country then - as they will not increase a base price of some countries and not others. But you are right about one thing, it will probably eventually go on sale as most eps do in most all of the game companies. I know the Aussies have always had to pay more but it was their country making the price higher - not EA.
I feel for those guys though - for sure.
I'm not sure. I'm in the U.K.

I was just curious and went over to the store to look at the pre-order price and... HOW MUCH?!!! :o
Since when did they hike the price by £5? Last time I bought an EP it was £29.99, not £34.99. That definitely decides the situation for me, there is no way I am paying £35 for a Cat & Dog only EP. I will wait for a sale.
