Police/Detective grades and uniforms
I try to figure how those ranks work with titles and uniforms.
First, I'm not sure if there are two careers in the game, Detective and Police, because I find it a bit confusing if Detectives actually dress like Police, and operate from a Police Station?
I found a mod giving me access to the uniform in CAS. There are 2 versions, blue with gold details, and black with silver details. What confuses me a bit is that a sim in the Detective career will use the golden uniform on early career stages. I don't know if they will ever use the silver version, because I did not play the full career. But in my book silver should be lower rank than gold...?
Do anyone know if these details refer to real life ranking? And how do you think Detective vs Police when it comes to titles and uniform? The career seems mixed. I'd much preferred this to be 2 careers.
Career titles: Cadet, Officer, Corporal, Detective, Senior Detective, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Colonel, Chief.

PS: Just discovered that the uniform police hat also comes with a white alternative. What grade/situation would you use that for?
