The way I understand it is that the community spaces, if placed in the world and left unused, will start accumulating garbage on them. To prevent this you need to vote and assign them some use such as a community garden, market place etc. I am not sure how this will tie in with the overall pollution levels in the neighbourhood which to me seem more like a weather effect. If you collect enough trash, like in Sulani, the pollution effects will start to dissappear. Also, I wonder if sims with traits like slob or litterbugs NPC will be able to affect the pollution levels in the neighbourhood.
Ahh so if I remove the community space in the new world, will it stay polluted or get clean automatically? I really don’t want the whole vote box thing but I want the world to stay dirty.
